Tantric meditation usually means visualizing a meditational deity. It is typically done as part of a ceremony known as a puja, which does include a lot of chanting. The chanting typically involves opening prayers, such as taking refuge and the bodhisattva vow, a desription of the appearance and attributes of the particular deity, chanting the mantra of the deity, and concluding prayers, such as a dedication of merit. Tantric (or Vajrayana) meditation usually requires an initiation before you are permitted to attend or practise. There are some that don't, but most do. You are welcome to any merit that I have. I have to agree that I seem to have some particularly good karma ripening at the moment. Keith
