Exactly what does this mean? I've been invited this evening to a vegan singles potluck/party and also an Annual summer party, celebrating Buddha Shakyamuni's first teaching at Vikatadamshtri Buddhist Center. I haven't been there yet, so I'm not sure if I would like that style or not. So I may go to the vegan event. It was nice though to read that they have veggieburgers, so it seems that most other traditions at least encourage vegetarianism! I would like that because then I know that there would be something I could eat if I went to a social event!!!! But I think this style emphasises chanting, but I'm not sure. And to Keith, can you do the transference of merit to me since you seem to have an abundance of karma, LOL? The bodhisattva vow says its a good idea I think!!!! :):):):)
