| Subject: | Please help me..... let down problems |

I am nursing a 5 month old. Nursing has been fine, she is a quick eater (unlike my other kiddos who could have stayed on the breast for hours!). She developed thrush last week so I started Gentian Violet on Friday. I painted it on my nipples and then nursed her 2x a day and then started 1x a day yesterday. I am explaining this because it is the only "different" thing going on here.
Now the problem: My let down which is usually pretty quick is taking almost 7-10 minutes!!! I have tried to relax and breath deeply before feeding. I have tried skin on skin nursing and its not working!! I am getting so frustrated, this has never happened to me before and this is my 5th child!!
Any advice or reasons why this might be happening? I am crying by the time it comes in because we are both so frustated (and that is after 5 or so minutes of being patient and breathing deep!!)
Help me!!!
