If this baby is so young, it is much too early for her to have solids and they will not help her growth, but rather might impede her development and increase her risk of alllergies. B/c dwarfism is a risk for these babies, early growth is essential. I would suggest mom pump much for frequently--there is always more fat available in a more empty breast. Then, the baby can be fed this higher fat milk to improve growth. If she is old enough, cod liver oil can be very helpful. Again, if she is old enough for solid foods, there are far better foods to give her than bananas or cereal. Jennifer
