I feel for you, I too have been dealing with a gassy, refluxy , fussy baby. My son was born 2 months premature due to HELP syndrome, He is 7 months now. He was put on zantac and reglan before he left to hospital due to apnea spells from refluxing. We stopped the reglan soon after we got home but continued with the zantac. For months we dealt with crying, gas and mass amounts of poopy diapers (some green, mucousy). I eliminated soy thinking that was it and it did help, a little. Then he got this crazy rash and foamy poop ( yes foamy!). I called the ped and they said excema and to lather him up with lotion. I did but i knew that excema can stem from food allergies so i decided to elimante dairy. Again, it helped but still he was fussy and having foamy poop. Then I took him off zantac, it never felt right to have my son on medication since i dont even vaccinate him due to the effects. No more gas, no foamy poop and he poops once maybe twice a day compared to every diaper being poopy. Our problems are not over because the reflux is bothering him so we are taking him to a cranial sacrial therapist. I would consider taking your baby off the previcid and seeing what happens. My son had a latch problem for a while due to nipple confusion. He was on bottled breastmilk while in the hospital (6 weeks) then i had to teach him to breastfeed. I too have a very strong let down and i found if i pull him off when i feel my let down happen and let the milk spray into a spit cloth for a moment, it really takes the force out.
well i hope this helps, let me know about the cranial sacrial, we are just starting our journey down that path.
Much love and happy new year
jessica
