| | Subject: | Low weight gain - high milk supply | |
Date: | December 5, 2006 at 11:16 pm PST |
My little one will turn 3 months on the 7th of this month and weighs about 10 1/2 pounds. I'm concerned because she only eats for about 5 minutes at each feeding which can be between 2-4 hours. I have an abundant milk supply...doctor says I'm producing milk like if I had triplets. I feel that my baby isn't getting to the fatty milk at each feeding and is why she is barely gaining a half ounce a day. What can I do to lower my milk supply so that she can get to the fatty milk? Please help becausee I'm getting very frustrated. She also gets very upset each time I let down as she chokes. Thank you!
