Subject:         Jennifer I too have a concern with a baby's bms being infrequent.

Jennifer, I am sorry I posted this concern on the wrong post. So here it is again...

I am so glad I found this board. My baby is 8 months old and has bms about three per week also. Everywhere I find info that this is safe and normal. It seemed very odd to me but I have been reassured by many. She was the regular pooper til three months at which time the bms went from a couple per day to every other day to 5-7 days. Could this be a food allergy?

She has only had some solids which made thicker moves that she seemed to almost panic with. I don't eat soy products. I am a vegan and eat mostly unprocessed foods.

She was 6lbs 2oz at birth and was up to 7lbs 11oz at three weeks, and 11lbs 9oz at 2 months. She was 20 inches at birth by three months she was 26" and now at 8 months she is 29", this is where I have been told that she is "utilizing the breast milk, look how she is growing". You are the only one who differs and I would love any info you can give as I am very concerned.
