A good support structure is really important. Do you have lots of help with the house and any other kids you might have? You didn't mention an SO. Is he or she in the picture and available for you? Make sure you are eating well. Lots of salads, fruits and veggies, some raw nuts and seeds for good fats. You may want to supplement with EFA's to make sure you are getting enough. Exercise would be really helpful too. Can you get out and walk with your babe in a sling or carrier every day? A little fresh air and sunshine can work wonders. A good massage therapist can help with back issues(so could a good chiropractor). My massage therapist not only works on any pain I might have, she gives me exercises to do to strengthen weak areas. I only go when I need to and she tries to work things out in 2 or 3 visits. As far as exhaustion goes, the other people in your life should be stepping up to the plate to help you out. If you can, sleeping whenever the baby sleeps is really great. If you're not sharing sleep with your wee one, it's a great way to get extra sleep(some will disagree with me, but I found it to be the BEST way to get good sleep). Jennifer may have more specific advice about herbs that are safe. Take care,
