Though I did enjoy the movie, like most time travel flicks, they tend to screw up right out of
the gate.
Main problem with the movie is in the VERY beginning of the creation of the tangent
universe, Dead-Frank is the one who leads Donnie out of the bed where he would have been
crushed when the engine fall into his bedroom in what I presume would have been the
primary universe. Donnie's survival is what causes the Tangent Universe to be created at that
moment since he leaves the bed he is SUPPOSED to die in. It's DEAD-FRANK'S own damn
fault to begin with. If he'd just let Donnie sleep, BOOM! Problem solved. Donnie dies like he's
suppose to and NO Tangent Universe is created to threaten all existence.
The retarded and convoluted paradox this all creates is, well obviously the tangent universe
has to have existed before this happens so the engine can fall into the room. We've just
created a circle of events that have to happen before the other has to happen for everything
else to happen to justify it happening before it all really happened. Donnie is woken to avoid
his death, only to go through all that stuff in the tangent universe to make an engine fall on
him in the primary universe where this time, he sleeps and gets crushed (because Dead-
Frank doesn't wake him up this time). What???
Whoops!! Writer dun' messed up.
