So Donnie travels through time to prevent the tangent universe he has just experienced from ensuing. Through his death, nothing that happened in the movie will actually happen. However, are the people of Middlesev not left with a jet engine at the end of the movie that defies any logical explanation? And wouldn't this mean that there would just be another different tangent universe? The corruption of time occurs when an unexplained event occurs, and since (regardless of whether Donnie is present or not) the engine at the end of the movie(in the primary universe) hits the house, then there must be another tangent universe. Basically, I want to know how (if the engine at the end of the movie has come from the tangent universe that doesn't happen) another tangent universe does not commence at the end of the film.
