Hey guys...I'm a college student and I really need help in my vegetarian transformation. I find it really hard to order food out at restaurants besides salad.
I've been doing this a week and I'm not dying or anything. I feel quite healthy, as always.
However, I think I am basically only eating brown rice, fruit, and vegetables.
I need some variety.
I indulged yesterday at a Greek restaurant and ate dolmas, hummus, tzatski (sp?), pita bread, and some other flaked bread that had a vefetable filling and a cheese filling in the other, almost reminiscent of a quiche.
So delicious!
But it was a $9.00 sample platter. I can't afford this. Especially for just one meal! I try to live within my means and not indulge often.
I try not to shop at Walmart because it is the closest and cheapest grocerer. I really can't stand Walmart though.
I need some help, tips, ideas on how to get a better start to this. I am craving something of substance, like falafel.
I am not struggling, but I have almost forgotten at times, like when I picked up a bag of beef jerky at work and stared at it, that I don't eat anymore.
My body feels fine and I work out almost daily. I am healthy, but I have not gotten a period, I think due to my change in exercise and now eating habits.
