Personally, I don't subscribe to the idea of dietary
"detox". Your body can clean itself out quite nicely
if you don't load it with junk food, fat and meat.

But lack of caffeine (which is a drug) can cause all
kinds of muscle aches as well as headaches-- I've
experienced it myself.

You may have just been reveling in feeling un-achey
again!

You can't go wrong with vegan registered dietitian
Ginny Messina's advice:

habits-of-healthy-vegans/
(She is the co-author of Vegan for Life: Everything
You Need to Know to be Healthy and Fit on a Plant-
Based Diet-- which I highly recommend you read. Ginny
was a dietetics instructor at Central Michigan
University and a dietitian for the Physicians
Committee for Responsible Medicine and is a former co-
author of the American Dietetic Associationís position
on vegetarian diets. She writes about a variety of
issues related to health and animal rights on her blog
TheVeganRD and as the National Vegan Examiner at
Examiner.com.)
