My husband and I started a detox diet two weeks ago. We cut out meat, dairy, caffiene, sugar and gluten. For the first few days we had bad heads (due to no caffiene) but our muscles also ached for about four days, particularly in our legs and around our lower back. Since then we have felt great. We feel so healthy and my skin feels so soft. We are wanting to reintroduce food to our diet now, but have decided to remain on a vegetarian diet. My question is, what exactly made our bodies feel so yucky, that once it was out of our system our bodies felt great? Was it chemicals and antibiotics added to meat? Was it additives in food? We have also experienced no bloatedness for the past few weeks so I put that down to no gluten? I just really want to avoid the foods that will make our bodies not feel as good as they do right now. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks, Lyn
