Catarina, your English is just great!
I'm not a diet expert, I'm a cook but I'll try to
head you in the right direction.
First of all, I'd like to say that those who go
vegan ONLY to lose weight or "be healthy" are more
apt to fall off the wagon, as you say, than those
who go vegan for animal concerns and/or
environmental concerns.
There are lots of resources on my website at this
page:

As for sugar, you can have sugar, just don't go
crazy. When I want to lose weight I go on a version
of the old Weight Watchers Core Plan and you can
have sugar, you just have to count the "points" (you
get so many extra pints a week to "play" with). So
I decided to stop using sugar in my tea, so that I
could have a dessert once in a while. I use 2
teaspoons of brown sugar in my morning oatmeal,
though.
I recommend Weight Watchers, actually, because it is
not just about calories and fat, but also fiber and
other nutrients. All fruits and vegetables are now
"free foods", so you can eat as much of them as you
like. If you join Weight Watchers (and they do have
WW in Sweden) you can go to online forums for help,
recipes, etc., and there are vegan forums! (I am not
employed by WW, by the way, I just think it's a
sensible way to go.)
As for meat cravings, it's normal to miss what you
have always had. Look into meat substitutes. I
have a Danish friend who moved to Sweden and he said
it was much easier to get vegan foods in Sweden.
(There is even a vegan Quorn coming onto the
market.)
You also need community! Seek out a vegan or
vegetarian association in your area and go to
meetings, dine-outs and potlucks. Google "Sweden
vegan" or "Swedish vegan" and you'll get some
interesting sites, including a blog called "The
Vegan Swedes" (you'll have to google that title-- I
can't give you a blog address on this forum).
I found this:
