Hey Bryanna

I am in the middle of making homemade wontons for soup. I usually add some diced up canned water chestnuts to the mix for some crunchy texture..... I was just about to open the can when I realized that I bought bamboo shoots by mistake.. Do you think they would work as a substitute for the water chestnuts or would it best to make another trip to the grocery store? Thanks!
