Hi, I'm interested in becoming vegetarian again. However, I went lacto vegetarian for a year, lost a lot of weight, my hair thinned and my nails were flaky. Overall I was far less healthy than before. I started eating small amounts of free range meat again but would rather be vegetarian. The problem is I cannot eat much lentils, beans ect - any legumes or bread. These all create herrendous digestive problems. Thus, after prolonged vegetarianism I think I was becoming quite protein defficient. I have not been diagnosed with coeliac and plan to get some tests done soon to see if I am allergic to gluten. However, I was wondering if anyone is in this situation and what they do to eat vegetarian and stay healthy? Carolyn
