That group would be a great place to start, Mike! Just remember to eat a varied diet, and eat enough to make you satisfied-- you can't live on salad! And, yes take vitamin D and vitamin B12, and have a couple of tablespoons of freshly-ground flax or 2 teaspoons of flax oil a day. But don't depend on supplements. Eat whole grains, beans, meat subs, vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds. This page on my website is entitled "Why be vegan and how?" and has lots of info, links, resources, and even simple menus: http://www.bryannaclarkgrogan.com/page/page/657466.htm Explore the rest of the website and follow the link to my blog here: http://www.bryannaclarkgrogan.com/page/page/3115952.ht m\ There are lots of recipes there. In fact, vegan blogs are a good source of recipes. PETA has a good vegetarian starter kit: http://www.bryannaclarkgrogan.com/page/page/3115952.ht m and so does Physicians Committee for responsible medicine: http://pcrm.org/kickstartHome/index.cfm
