I've learned what to serve non-veg kids when they come to the house, so here's a couple of thoughts. 'Cause some kids really are picky!!

They love "mexican" type food made with beans and lettuce and avocado and I sometimes put corn into tacos and I use Better than Sour Creme which you can buy at HFS. You can also use the "cheeze" sauce that Bryanna has a recipe for, it's pretty amazing but most of the kids I served really like it and one even asked me for the recipe. So that's success!

You can hide vegetables in things, like zucchini bread, carrot cake, that sort of thing. But I think if you keep trying different veggies, your daughter might come around. My husband, who never ate a vegetable in his life until he met me (seriously) would touch NONE of them until I started him making soups. He will eat anything in soup. Cauliflower, sweet potatoes, asparagus and beets, even broccoli. It's amazing. What also helps is if your daughter is involved with the cooking. Have her pick out recipes and then help make them or make them herself. She'll be more likely to experiment and to taste.

You can also make vegetarian versions of her favorites, pizza can be easily made vegetarian, so can just about any Italian food. You MUSt get some good simple cookbooks, relying on meat alternative such as Boca gets pretty boring and probably not that healthy either. But there are some good subs, for example, Yves ground round subs really good in things like macaroni mix (you know, the dish with macaroni and hamburger (Yves) and tomatoes and stuff.

Experimenting with food is the funnest thing ever, you can do it together and have so much fun.
