I am insane enough to have tried boiling down regular soy milk but I didn't really like the result - it was very beany and gritty - maybe because I was using a fairly cheap store bought variety, and no it definately wasn't worth the effort. What I find does work really nicely is to boil homemade soy milk down to half volume for use in making soy yogurt (after salt, sugar etc have been added) - I don't really know if the similarity is there but I call this my greek style soy yogurt. It only takes about 20 mins and isn't much more bother than just cooking it as you need to on the stove top anyway (of course not as convenient as the microwave method you've got on your site which I love) But, alas, with 6 and 21 m.o. boys running my life even this is too much of a luxury now days.
