Every year my family requests "turkey" in puff pastry, a recipe I found on VegSource about a million years ago. It is very good with one minor exception: the bottom layer of puff pastry always comes out undercooked. I use your turkey roast (four of them in the fridge right now!) as the base layer and then add a layer of stuffing and top it with gravy and cover the whole thing with more pastry. This year we are taking it to friend's and I would love to I have a nice, flaky bottom.
