Subject:         apple crumb pie

So I figured instead of making a double-crust apple pie this year I'd make an apple crumb pie but I want a topping that is not too sweet and not too fatty. Do you suppose walnuts would work in the topping? Do you have a recipe for something like this? I thought I'd mix winesap and granny smiths together but I dont want the topping to be too obnoxious . . .
