But when you say "regular" maker, you mean not Belgian? And will the other recipes do ok in a (non-stick) Belgian?

As for the pancakes, I am vegan-pancake-cursed ... lol, which is why we have a waffle maker! Maybe I'll give your recipe a try them, though. Since I know it's a reliable recipe, there's a _chance_ I won't end up with an oil-soaked, soggy mess!
