Slice it thinly and brown it a bit in a little oil.

You know all the ingredients-- rye bread, sour kraut, etc. Use a vegan mozza for the cheese (Tofutti, Vegan Gourmet or Sheese) and make your own dressing:

a slapdash version: one part ketchup, two parts Vegannaise, one part sweet pickle relish. A true Russian dressing would have a bit of horseradish in it too.

Use earth Balance to "butter" the bread. Pan-fry or grill your sandwich gently and enjoy!
