Same here. My mother tells me that my being vegan should not stand in the way of making friends with meat-eaters. I think otherwise. Veganism goes beyond what somebody eats or does not eat. It's a wholesome philosophy (a bit like religion). It encompasses many aspects of everyday life from the brand of toothpaste one brushes her/his tooth in the morning to the featherless pillow his/her head lands at the end of the long day. I'm hoping to meet you all compassionate people. Have a great weekend. |
