Yesterday, I saw chickens being transported for slaughter. We were travelling down a highway. I saw a poor chicken with her head sticking out of the cage and looked like it was suffering so much. I cried. I can't believe that we live in a culture that treats other living things so poorly. I still get tears in my eyes thinking of the suffering of these poor souls. I just had to post. Seeing this has had such a profound effect on me.
