Several years ago there was a story that may have come out of California (not sure) about a vegetarian city bus drive who was fired because he refused to hand out hamburger coupons to riders. He sued and won. The judge said that his beliefs are a set of moral values that he sincerely holds and that he lives by - and that is the definition of religion.
