I have noticed that vegans seem to have a more transluscent skin, including myself. Think Alicia Silverstone, she's so beautiful. I don't think there's anything in milk you need, and your skin color is probably the way it should be, I have noticed meat eaters tend to have ruddy skin color. If you have doubts about milk, watch the video on the vegsource front page by John McDougall!! If you're eating a well-balance plant based diet with lots of veggies and fruits, many of them raw, beans & other legumes, whole grains, supplementing with B-12, you shouldn't be missing anything. Make sure you get vitamin D in the winter months (if you live in a northern climate) by supplementation. If you want orangier skin, you could always drink loads of carrot juice!!
