I have tried for years to be vegetarian (vegan), but about a year ago I became very serious for health reasons. I can go a long time without meat. (about a month) then I become tired and nothing helps except about 4 or 5 oz of meat. I feel kind of sick to my stomach after I have eaten the meat, but I have energy again. I must be missing something in my diet. I believe that I am getting enough iron and b12- is there something else?
