I'm in the same position as you, except I only have one child. :) I too am nursing an 8 month old and I am strongly feeling the need to change my diet to a plant-based diet. For an omnivore, I eat very healthily and am in pretty good shape, considering that I have a baby. My husband, on the other hand, is a die-hard carnivore and while he won't interfere with me going vegetarian, he surely isnt' making it an easy transition. My main dilemma is this: he wants our son to drink whole cow's milk and eat meat and I really oppose the idea of giving cow's milk to children ~ I'm also, after reading The Food Revolution, having serious doubts on whether or not to feed my son meat. I guess I just need to hear from some people who are in the same situation and have made the transition smoothly while family members continue to eat meat. What's next?
