That's just great! I think a lot of people don't like me too because of my choice of diet, i.e. they have a hard time figuring out what to feed me at gatherings, etc., but I really don't mind, I have a hard time making friends anyway because I'm so wierd in other ways!

That thing about energy is so ridiculous, if you do some research you will find that there are many successful vegetarian athletes. Americans are simply brainwashed to believe they have to have meat, it is a gross untruth, along the lines of the claims of the dairy industry that you have to eat dairy to get calcium, it's deeply entrenched into culture and really too bad because it's so untrue.

And the health thing -- well, I don't know if it's true that vegetarians are more healthy, haven't done the research on that, but I know so many people my age -- 46 -- who have arthritis, high cholesterol and high blood pressure, people my age who have had fatal or serious heart attacks, cancer, headaches, stomach problems, osteoporosis, diabetes. And I have none of those, have only been sick with a virus, flue or cold, since 1997, and certainly have lots of energy!
