I am just 4 days on my plant-based journey away from the Adkins diet. Though I am enjoying the fruits and vegetables, my stomach has been bloated and . . . yes lots of wind. Someone told me to take Beano or some enzyme with my meal, some say take something afterwards. If going plant-wise is good for my body, then why the discomfort? Also, I liked the Adkins diet because of the immediate weight loss, is there a good book or way to loose weight on a plant based diet? There are so many books, how do I choose which ones to help me get started in this new life-style and meal planning on this journey? Any books or website articles you can recommend to a Newbie will be appreciated. Thank you for your help,
