I have been an ovo-lacto vegetarian for 4 months now. I am considering becoming vegan but have not done so yet. I don't buy dairy or egg products but some of the faux meats have egg or dairy in them. I don't let this deter me because I know that despite using these products I have cut down on animal suffering. I also am in the process of replacing my leather products as they wear out with non-leather stuff. And I make sure that all of my purchases are as non-violent as possible. I use to get hung up about certain things but I know not all products are available in my area and I cannot afford to do all my shopping at vegan internet stores so I do the best I can. It is almost impossible to live a modern life and not use some type of product that doesn't have an animal by product in it but that does not make you a hyprocrite. Do the best that you are humanly able to. This is the path that you have chosen and don't let anyone tell you how you should walk down it. I wish you much success in your journey and hope I could help.
