Yeah, ideas -- don't talk about it unless people ask in a concerned way or have a genuine interest in your diet choices. I know you feel very passionate about this, as I do, as most of us do, but it just plain doesn't work to talk about this stuff unless you have a genuinely interested audience. And I found that the very best way to spread your "message" is by your actions -- by eating and serving really good vegan food, thus dispelling the myth that vegans survive on boring salads all the time, refusing to buy leather, etc. You WILL influence people around you, though you may not know it. After all, if you think about what made you become aware of this issue, it is a collection of experiences probably spanning many years. You can be one such experience for other people, little by little. Short of joining a group and becoming an activist, that is . . .
