I have an aversion to organic foods because in some cases they are much more "unhealthy" than those that are genetically modified. Organic does not mean without pesticides and herbicides, it simply means no GMOs. I am a scientist in the biotechnology field and I know that there is NOTHING wrong with GMOs, and I do not wish to pay more for the food I eat if there is no reason to. Plus, I get the added bonus of not ingesting more pesticides and herbicides than necessary. There is no scientific proof out there to show that any GMO foods on the market have caused any harm to anybody. However, this is not why I joined this website (to debate), if you leave me to my beliefs I will leave you to yours. If you have any supportive tidbits for me I would appreciate it, otherwise, like I said, I do not wish to argue.
You asked why and I told you what I know.
