Thirty papaya trees? That sounds like a lot. How much fruit do you get off of them? Just curious. I live in Tampa. It's a little too far north for avocadoes and mangoes. Too bad because I love both. Along my back property line I've planted a red navel, mandarin, satsuma, red grapefruit, and temple orange. In a short while they will give me truck loads of fruit, with the different varieties coming in season over a span of maybe four months from late fall to early winter. I planted a fig, two nextarines, a red plum and yellow plum in my side yard. They are growing very well and will give fruit in the spring and summer. If the squirells are nice and leave some for me. Dennis.
