Hi Kaykay, It's been a couple of weeks since you wrote in to the web site. What did you decide about becoming a vegetarian? I like you am new to this whole thing and I can't really see myself becoming a vegan. My brother has been a vegetarian for years (although he still eats seafood) so I am not really sure if that still makes him a true vegetarin! Anyway, I have also just recently made the change to a plant based diet. I am in my third week and have managed to cut out most dairy products with the exception of my occasional ice cream binge and I do still eat eggs. I am also down to seafood maybe once or twice a week. I have come to enjoy vanilla and chocolate rice milk and all of the meatless meals(pizza, veg.burgers and breakfast links). I have even gone as far as replacing meat in some of my families favorite meals and for the most part it's working. A little about me, I am a 30 year old wife and mom of three. Since March I have lost about 33 pounds. Now that I have almost reached my goal weight I am looking to move to the next level of wellness which for me is cutting out meats. It's hard but I think as I learn more it will get easier. I am willing to share info with you and I would love to have a support buddy as well! Teresa
