Hi,
I'm thinking about becoming a vegetarian but need some advice & guidence.
Last week I listened to a guy talk about the 4 bucks he killed the past weekend at his dear lease. I've never really known any hunters before & listening to him made me sick to my stomach. I stopped eating meat that day & so far I don't miss it too much (it's been 6 days). My problem is, & I know this will sound funny but it's gas. Since I've added more beans & veggies to my diet, the gas & bloating is unbearable. I don't want to go back to eating meat but my stomach felt much better when I did. Please, if you have any advice in this area, I'd appreciate it!
Also everyone's been telling me how unhealthy it is to stop eating meat. All that "you need protein & you have to make sure you have enough combination meals etc." Now I know me, it a diet, any diet is too hard to follow, I won't do it. Please tell me this vegetarin thing isn't that complicated! I hate to cook & don't really have too much money so I'm thinking this may be a problem for me. Again, any thoughts would be appreciated.
I love animals & already volunteer at a local humane society but, doing this would mean so much more to me. I'd really feel like I was making a difference if I could become a vegetarian so thanks in advance for your help.
