I feel exactly the same way flynfyngrz! Your comments about not liking to be labeled something rang true with me. Not only do I not like labels and their adjoined steriotypes-- I don't even like vegetables! kindof an oxymoron huh? being a vegitaritan and not liking vegitables.. I eat mostly grains and dairy. I love grains and their products, like pastas.. that's what I live on. I put tomato sauce on it.. and tomatos are a vegetable.... I bet wheat or oats are technically also "vegetable life."

Another label I hate is being labeled a "hippy. Yes, I am very "hippy-like" in some of my ways and ideals and spirityual expressions... but I am more of a transcendentalist of the 1860's rather than a 1960's hippy. (the transcendentalist movement to which I am referring is of course that headed my Emerson and Threau in Concord MA, and was very much like the 1960's movement without the drugs. ) Unfortuneatly, the people who like the expression "damn hippy" do not know about the transcendentalists.
