I once did a survey about vegitarianism. I asked questions to determine how prevelent misconceptions were and how extensive those misconceptions. The results indicated that about half of people had profound misconceptions. SOME even believed that it is not possible for a human being to survive without ingesting animal flesh. So I'm technically not alive? I have more energy than most people, my immune system is so strong, I do not even get colds... occasionally, I will start to show symptoms of a cold, but within hours my immune system
will completely fight it off. I have not been sick enough to vomit since I was 13, (and I am 20 now), Never been to a hospital for anything except my birth (that includes never having to take any "medication."). Still, I'm dead?! Wow. Fooled me.

Even the part about plants not having complete, usable protiens.... that is even a myth as I understand. Sure one plant alone may not have the full spectrum of amino acids, but I do not think that all the amino acids need to be of equal proportion to be complete and useable! Even a very tiny bit of the lacking amino acid will render a large quantity of incomplete protien, usable... plus, many of the amino acids are created internally by our own bodies.

I have never understood how utterly stupid someone can be: thinking thatplants do not contain protien and that it is not possible to grow muscular tissue via plants alone.... Well how the heck did the cow/pig/deer from whom we are supposed to get these protiens obtain them just from eating grass or oats? How do horses get those beautiful strong bodies, they do not eat meat? This is like believing that the world is flat, how does something come from nothing?

Sad, but alot of people have a propensity for such misconceptions.

It is true that I have always eaten dairy and eggs, but if meat were so vital to human development, then I simply would not be-- since my mom was pregnant with me while being a vegitarian-- and I was my whole childhood.

Still, I have since my earlyst days had people tell me that I am going to die. Luckily I have had more people professing on my behalf.

I do have a confession. I crave.
(I crave carob, cinnemon and chamomile tea)
