Hey Fi, Get the following books: Diet for a New America by John Robbins Then you will have valid, supportive reasons for your vegetarian diet. Also, check out peta.org earthsave.org I know you said you're a vegetarian but peta and earthsave will both give strong arguments for choosing a vegan diet. All of this info will help you when talking to your friends. Oh, one more tip; don't preach. Just live your life. If you preach, people will be close-minded. I love to wear message shirts for shock value then wait for someone to start talking. I always have pleasant, non-confrontational conversations about my diet because I'm always in control and that's the way I want to present myself to non veggies.
