Subject: Deciding to go Vegan

I've always enjoyed food and have given little thought to the processes involved in obtaining my favorite foods (Foi Gras being the one I loved the most and yes I know how horrible that particular process is). my decision to go vegan seems odd to me because although I love animals it has never caused me to feel the need to sacrifice my favorite foods. Don't get me wrong, I'm not heartless but it just didn't really effect me.. And its not the reason I've decided to do this now.. What seems strange to me is that I cant figure out why I want to go vegan just that I must. Can anyone else relate to this or am I crazy? I honestly think this is my path and am willing to do the work involved but I wish I could understand why this suddenly feels right
