Subject: Eureka, I am a vegan...

...after reading this article Why Vegan? on a vegan site (it didn't let me post the URL or the name here).
I've been a vegetarian for five years but I never thought about how they take the calves away from the mother cows, and slaughter the babies for veal -- among other atrocities. It made me cry. I could not sleep last night. I kept thinking how I would feel if aliens came down to earth and made us have babies so they could take them away and use our milk. That is one miserable scenario.
So, I am giving up all animal products now. Just wanted to share.
