I have been seeing a counselor and attending support groups since October 21, 1999. I am working on my core issues of codependency and dealing with relationship and approval addictions. The abuse in my life include childhood sexual abuse, emotional and spiritual abuse as a young wife and mother. The subject of cell memory came up in one of my therapy sessions a few months ago. My counselor saw it as a possibility, not something to be dismissed lightly.
A year ago last March I had a deep muscle massage. I was informed by the man that did it that we store the tensions from each experience we have in our muscles. I could tell a great deal of difference after he finished with my massage. The following weeks I seemed to have less trouble focusing on and acting on the things I needed to do to advance my recovery.
Cell memory is a most interesting subject. I would love to hear from others in regards to their opinions on cell memory.
