Hi Abigail,

Seems like you might be over training just a little. Crunches are good for doing crunches but not for losing belly fat. Too many crunches for diminishing returns. Remember you cannot lose fat in your tummy by doing tummy exercises. It's called 'spot reducing' and really there is no such thing.

Your overall eating plan may be incorporating too much fat and its just being deposited into your adipose tissue, just under the skin.

Take a look at your food intake (calories, especially calories from fat) and reorganise if necessary. Your exercise training seems to be a little too much without any time for your body to recover. This can add to your woes very easily.

You can probably lose the excess fat fairly easily but be truthful to yourself and if you are eating too many nuts, you may need to cut them down (not out) and eat some low calorie, nutrient dense foods.

All the best.
