Hi Suzanne,
Congratulations on your regular exercise routine and healthy lifestyle.
I like to down a banana after training and then I eat pretty much what I feel like (all low fat vegan of course). I do not get hung up on particulars as my eating plan is wide and varied throughout the week.
If you do not feel bad or enervated after your workout, no problem, but if you like bananas, go for 1 or 2 after training. It's my favourite any time of the day!
