Hello there,

I am just venturing into vegetarian eating so i cant help you there. What i can help with is the workout part.

Having tries many different styles of weight and cardio training over the years, the method i use now is for me the most efficiant use of my time while providing fantastic results. I stumbled across this method in Bill Phillips' book "Body for Life" which i would recommend. To summarize the workout..

Day one = Upper body weights
Day two = cardio
Day three = lower body weights, abs
day four = cardio
day five = upper body weights
day six = cardio
day seven = rest
begin new week with next exercise in the rotation.

Bill outlines in the book specifics on the regimen such as setting time, reps and intensity. Using this method i am never in the gym for more than 1:30 min on the very longest routine which is upper body and thats if im slacking and not following the time intervals. The rest of the time im there for 20 to 45 min. A note of caution he does heavily promote his supplement products which are perhaps not required with the right diet and the results you are looking for.
