Since having my last baby, I have not been able to budge those last few inches from my mid section. I have gone back to a staple, jumping rope. It is efficient and effective. I find running to be boaring and I try to minimize impact of this sort due to some back issues. However, jumping rope for 15-20 minutes a few times a week has helped to do the trick. I jump on a wood or padded floor to minimize the impact.

While building up to 15-20 minutes you may want to try jumping for 60 seconds and dropping down and doing sit ups/push ups. As you build up endurance you can adjust the intervals.

On the other hand, if I did not have back issues, I would love to grow into a runner.

I wish you quick minimization!
