Any opinions out there about caffeine boosting performance before a long work out? I've gotten in a bad habit of drinking a diet coke before step, weight lifting, and kickboxing classes. It does SEEM to boost performance and give me more energy through the classes, just as fitness articles suggest. These are challenging classes, not your average 30 min aerobics class. Yet, I'm trying to kick caffeine completely. Would appreciate hearing others' views on this... Thanks.
