You cannot offset the harm done by eating animal products with eating vegetables. It's like plugging a major submarine leak with a band aid.

Animal products cause cardiovascular disease, cancers and can disable many of the boy's natural defenses.

Cholesterol, saturated fats and dangerous animal proteins contribute to the so called develpoed countries epedemic health - or should I say - sickness problems.

Countries with high animal products as their staple have the higest rates of chronic diseases as mentioned above as well as osteoporosis, just as you mentioned.

In a nutshell, Osteoporosis comes about by the animal products high (and incorrect type of) protein content causing the body to become acidic (hence heartburn etc). So the body must neutralise this by leeching calcium and other minerals from the bones.

No matter how much dairy is consumed, the high protein content rich in sulphur will ensure a negative calcium balance in the body.

Again, the countries with the highest dairy consumption has the highest rates of Osteoporosis.

Take a look at Dr John McDougall's web site and numerous books and web videos for some magnificent info.

All the best
