I injured the tendon that runs across the arch of the foot and up the back of the leg. My point of injury was below the ankle bone and towards the heel. Initially the doctor diagnosed it as an achilles injury and told me not run but that cycling was fine. Cycling was intensely painful and I couldn't do it. I later found out that this was a cycling injury. That tendon is called the tibialis posterior (or something resembling that)
